Originally from New York
City, Steven is a lyricist, songwriter, film music composer and percussionist
living in Sweden. He was the driving force behind The Sunday Tea
Ensemble (the highly acclaimed 28-piece world music orchestra), “Echo of a City" (Slask
Records SLACD 011, 1995).![]() He has composed the music for ten short films and documentaries for Swedish Television, some of which have won international awards, like "Hedersmord", "Tidens ansikte" and "Sirhans förlorade heder/ Shiran´s Lost Honor” (UNESCO award). He is an active popular music lyricist and is a member of SKAP (Swedish Society for Popular Music Composers). For his lyrics and music he was awarded a prize by STIM, the Swedish performing rights society. |
